Welcome to Mohawk Engine Companies look back at the past. Since posting our website earlier this year we have heard from many past members who have left our company and our community and have headed to other parts of the country. Some members who have found us and have contacted us have not been members since the late sixties. With this in mind we thought it would be great to have a site to share a little of the history of Mohawk Engine so the residents of our community can see how we have grown with them in West Islip and our new members could learn a little about what they are a part of. We hope some of our past members (like Peter in California and George in the Sunshine State) can see what has been happening in Mohawk and maybe relive some fond memories with the "old pics" pulled from the Mohawk archives and brought to you on this page.
